Goodcare Health Services was born from a deeply personal calling. When Ken Cargle dedicated his life to caring for others in the Texas Panhandle, he built more than a business — he built a mission. His commitment to treating every patient with dignity, respect, and genuine compassion became the foundation of everything Goodcare stands for.
Sondra Cargle continues to carry his mission into the future. As owner and operator, Sondra has honored Ken's legacy by maintaining the same high standards of care he championed, while growing the agency to serve even more families across the region.
Today, Goodcare Health Services remains a family-rooted agency — one where every caregiver, nurse, and staff member understands that they are entering someone's home, someone's life, and someone's most vulnerable moments. That responsibility is never taken lightly.

Sondra took the helm of Goodcare Health Services to honor the legacy of her late husband Ken, who founded the agency on a belief that every person deserves compassionate, dignified care at home. Under her leadership, Goodcare has continued to grow while staying true to the personal, family-centered values that define the agency.
Sherri Prater, RN
Administrator
Sherri brings years of clinical nursing experience to her role as Administrator. She oversees care coordination, staff development, and regulatory compliance — ensuring every patient receives care that meets the highest clinical and ethical standards. Her hands-on approach and genuine warmth set the tone for the entire Goodcare team.
